Age of the Anniversary

At the start of the calendar an intricate mechanism shifts the dials to the present year and subsequently two hands indicate the age of each event for hundreds of years.

The two hands work in a synchronised motion to display 100 years on the left and 10 years on the right sub dials. When all the events have passed their due calendar year is automatically set to the new year. When the crown direction is reversed the disc of names reverses and the previous year is displayed once again, subsequently all ages are perpetually displayed.
