Twaalfhoven Watches

FAQ

Can the Matchplay Watch handle impact?
As many as eight prototype watches have been subjected to vigorous testing for 18 months. Young players have hit T-shots over 300 yards, as well as fairway shots on frozen ground, impact with rocks and roots. See the videos below where we hit the watch out of the bunker! We do not recommend that you try it too!
Does the Matchplay show my distance to the Green?
The Matchplay Watch is a pure mechanical machine. No batteries, no swipe screen, but one could say Yes, GPS: If you are a pure Golf enthusiast it can translate to Golf, Pleasure and Style!
How long does the automatic movement last when not worn?
This watch is styled to be worn at all times. If you own a collection of watches the power reserve is near 40 hours. Simply pull the crown and set the time. Then wind it a bit and you are ready to go.
How does the Matchplay Watch keep count
There are three pushers. Left Counter, Right Counter, and Reset. You can set your strokes for two players on a hole. Or play two balls and register the strokes for each ball. Once you holed out you note the result on your score card and press reset before starting the next hole.
Is the Matchplay Watch comfortable when playing?
Perspiration, sun lotion, sand and water are all part of the game of golf. We fit a super comfortable silicone strap as a standard. A leather band can be fitted optionally. The push buttons are partially recessed for comfort. The strong springs of the pushers prevent accidental score registration.
